Introduction
We are committed to promoting responsible business practices among our suppliers. We believe they should share our values of social and environmental responsibility and adhere to the highest ethical standards.
This Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the minimum standards and expectations we require. Launched in 2025 as a requirement for all new suppliers, we are consulting with existing suppliers on a time-scaled plan to evolve the policy. Many of our long-term partners already maintain established, published ESG standards.
The aim is simple: promote good social and environmental performance, and protect against brand damage from environmental or human rights violations.
Labour Standards & Practice
Every supplier must adhere to the following:
- Freely chosen employment — no forced, bonded, or indentured labour of any kind
- Compliant working hours — in line with local laws and industry standards
- Fair wages — minimum wage payment and all legally mandated benefits
- No child labour — below the local minimum employment age
- Non-discrimination — no discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any irrelevant factor
- Safe working environments — complying with all applicable health and safety laws
Environmental Policy
All our suppliers adhere to international environmental standards as outlined in ISO 14000 and social accountability SA 8000. Specifically, we require:
- Minimising environmental impact through eco-friendly materials and processes
- Reducing waste and promoting recycling and reuse
- Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
- Avoiding hazardous substances
- Adhering to all relevant environmental regulations and laws
